Links¶
This section covers what you may see within Unified Assurance when you click on the "Links" link in the navigation pane in the main user interface.
What is a Link?¶
Links provides a location for something to open within an Unified Assurance window. The major functionality of this component are:

Share internal or external web links.

Store and share files on the system.

Multi-tenancy functionality supported for customized groupings.
How do I create a Link?¶
The following interfaces are used to create links:
Links Navigation Explained¶
When the Links navigation pane is displayed, you will see the Link Group that has been assigned as your user groups Restrictive Link Group, and any Links that are in the group. You will also see child Link Groups and any Links in the child groups. For example, using this layout:

You will see the following in the view:

If the user group's restrictive link group is set to Root, you will see the entire layout above.

If the user group's restrictive link group is set to Link Group 1, you will see Link C as it is a member of Link Group 1. You will also see Link Group 3, which can be expanded to show Link E and Link F.
Note
If a restrictive group is not set, the UI will default to using the Root group.
